Legal notice 92 of 2018 has been published pursuant to which the commercial section within the Civil Court of Malta shall be set up to hear all suits relating to the Companies Act, Cap 386 of the laws of Malta. the said courts will be expected to hear applications relating to : 

1. insolvency matters, 
2. the so-called minority actions, 
3. claims relating to breaches of directors' duties, 
4. requisition of shareholder meetings by the court, 
5. winding up procedures, 
6. fraudulent preference and wrongful trading claims, 
7. company reconstruction applications, and
8. company recovery procedures. 

Additionally, online filings of court applications in the Commercial division shall be made possible via the ecourts.gov.mt website.
